Northwest Arkansas resident claims $250.8M Powerball jackpot

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Northwest Arkansas resident recently claimed a $250.8 million Powerball jackpot from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

The winning ticket, purchased through the Jackpocket mobile app, matched the numbers 2, 17, 18, 38, 62, and the Powerball number 20 for the March 2 drawing. The ticket was processed at Winners Corner, located at 6801 W. 12th St. in Little Rock.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, opted for a one-time cash payment of $118 million before taxes. They selected their own numbers for the ticket, according to a news release.
