Nearly half of the inmates in Arkansas who are released from Corrections facilities return, but a pilot program is aiming to change that.
The first class of Arkansas’ Future Fit Program graduated in February. It’s a step in the state’s effort to reduce repeat incarceration. The program aims to equip graduates with knowledge and tools to make that though transition a little bit easier.
