FROSTPROOF, Fla. — A Lakeland man is facing charges after he was caught driving a modified tricycle with a gas engine illegally on a public road, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office says.
An affidavit shows 43-year-old Travis Robert Smith was previously warned by a deputy in December to stay off the roads with the contraption.
