Dayton man sentenced to nearly 35 years to life after murder conviction

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A Dayton man was sentenced to nearly 35 years to life after a Grand Jury found him guilty of murder.

According to Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck, David Brown, 44, was convicted of the following charges:

  • Four counts of Murder
  • Two counts of Felonious Assault
  • Two counts of Aggravated Robbery
  • One count of Having Weapons While Under Disability

Heck shared that on July 28, 2024, Dayton Police received a call reporting a shooting on the 2800 block of Salem Avenue.
