ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A 22-year-old man from Collinsville was arrested Thursday in connection to an armed robbery at a Roanoke Southwest gas station, according to the Roanoke Police Department.
Ryan Charles Huntress was arrested April 2, 2026 by the United States Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Task Force; he was charged with armed robbery, officers said.
At 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 30, officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Memorial Ave.
Officers say they reviewed surveillance footage and alleged Huntress entered the store, walked behind the counter, pulled a handgun from his pocket, and pointed it at the clerk, demanding cash. The clerk complied and Huntress fled; no injuries were reported, according to RPD…
