Easter brings crawfish rush to Captain Sid’s in Metairie

METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Starting off the Easter weekend, the pots begin to boil, and more crawfish are thrown in than nearly any other time of the year.

For each of the three days, the Captain Sid’s Seafood team goes through roughly 6,000 pounds of boiled crawfish.

As for live, about 250 sacks go out the door each day as well…
