Storm chances return Sunday, kicking off a much stormier pattern through much of next week

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Our stretch of dry weather is about to end, with daily storm chances returning and likely sticking around through next week.

Sunday will be warm and muggy, with highs back in the mid-80s as a southerly breeze pulls more Gulf humidity into the area.

By afternoon, we’re watching about a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms, with the most likely coverage near the lake, the north shore, and west in the river parishes…
