MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) — Governor Kay Ivey has returned home following a successful procedure on one of her lungs at Baptist Medical Center South.
Ivey underwent a procedure to remove a fluid that was pressed against one of her lungs. Spokesperson Gina Maiola says the fluid has been 100% cleared, and she will have no short or long-term challenges related to the issue.
