PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Around 300 families in Pensacola will get a box of fresh food, thanks to Rep. Michelle Salzman and Feeding the Gulf Coast.

Former South Alabama player makes Major League Baseball debut

According to a news release from Salzman’s office, the representative is teaming up with Feeding the Gulf Coast to host a “large-scale distribution event” Saturday, May 16, at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church, 6205 North W Street in Pensacola, from 7:30 a.m. until supplies run out.

During the event, around 30,000 pounds of food, including fresh produce, will be handed out to families in need across the community. Cars can start lining up at 6 a.m. and the first 300 families to come through will receive a box of food…
