SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Federal immigration authorities say they have lodged a detainer against an 18-year-old charged in the killing of 15-year-old Miles Young, as several southwest Missouri officials prepare to address the case Friday morning in Springfield.
The federal immigration action comes a day before a planned press conference on the steps of the Historic Greene County Courthouse in Springfield.
