ATHENS, Ala. — Athens police are investigating the deaths of two people discovered Friday morning in a residential neighborhood, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call at a home near the intersection of Blair Road and Watercress Drive at 9:30 a.m., Chief Anthony Pressnell said. The department launched a death investigation upon arrival.
“There is no threat to the community,” Pressnell said. “The investigation is ongoing. We are contacting family members and do not have further information to share at this time.”…
