CHAMBERS COUNTY — A traffic stop for speeding led to the quick arrest of four suspects from Alabama and the seizure of guns, mushrooms, and drugs near Winnie.
Sheriff Brian Hawthorne reports that at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, a Chambers County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a driver for speeding on eastbound I-10 near the 820 mile marker in Winnie.
A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the seizure of hydrocodone, mushrooms, marijuana, promethazine, and multiple firearms…
