WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A stolen cow escaped officers and visited a business in northwest Wichita on Thursday night.
Wichita police said they were helping deputies from Kay County, Oklahoma, investigate a livestock trailer theft.
Sheriff: Cattle missing, theft suspected in Kansas
The officers found a stolen trailer near West First Street and Martinson Avenue around 10 p.m. While they were inspecting it, a cow got loose and ran north into a business near West Ninth Street and McLean Boulevard.
