17th Annual Plains Car, Truck, Motorcycle and Tractor show a huge success

The 17th Annual Plains Car, Truck, Motorcycle and Tractor Show, hosted by Southwest Trophy & Gifts owner Stephanie Young, was a gearhead’s dream. 78 vehicles spanning 100 years of automotive history lined Main Street and spilled out onto the side streets, their owners competing for the coveted “Best of Show” awards. Hundreds of motor enthusiasts from across the region, including a train full who arrived on the SAM Shortline, enjoyed the festivities. A free live concert by The Lloyd Carter Band, outside vendors, food, and downtown shopping galore, made for a truly charming, family-friendly adventure.The Corvette owners club, always popular, came out in force to showcase 75 years of Corvette body styles, including a score of C8 mid-engined models. Kevin Moore of Warner Robins won Best in Show Stock for his heart-stopping 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray.The restored classic pickup owners likewise populated a considerable number of spaces.
