Today PennDOT is working on a $1.8 million resurfacing project that will span over five miles of Route 6N, 18, and Old Albion Road in Erie County.
Roads to be improved include:
- Route 6N (Route 3006) – Route 215 to Route 3007 from Conneaut Township to Elk Creek Township; 2.50 miles.
- Route 18 – Park Ave to Grandview Ave in Albion Borough and Elk Creek Township; 2.12 miles.
- Old Albion Road (Route 3013) – Route 6N to the Albion Fair Grounds in Albion Borough; 0.50 miles.
Milling, paving, curb ramps, guide rail upgrades, and roadway line painting will all be included in this $1.8 million project. The project is expected to be completed by the end of November this year, weather permitting.
During construction lane restrictions may be instated with flaggers directing traffic. Drivers should be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions, and pay attention in construction zones for workers and flaggers…
