A former Alabama college student has been sentenced to life in prison in the shooting death of a beloved classmate.
Ivry Hall, formerly lauded for escaping a life of inner-city violence, previously pleaded guilty in the 2020 slaying of 22-year-old Adam “Belle” Dowdell, a beloved graduate of Montevallo High School who was a sophomore at ASU when he was killed.
