Pensacola donates building to Community Health Northwest Florida

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A non-profit in Pensacola is set to receive a building as part of its mission to provide dental and family care.

According to a news release, the Pensacola City Council approved the donation of the building that used to be a part of the Baptist Hospital campus.

With the new building, located at 801 Avery Street, the nonprofit will provide dental and Adult and Family Care services. Covenant Care will partially fund the renovations through a donation.

“Community Health is honored that Mayor Reeves and the City Council see the value in ourorganization, and the importance of keeping healthcare accessible to the neighbors of the former Baptist Hospital facility,” says Community Health Northwest Florida CEO Chandra Smiley. “We have a lot of work ahead of us still, and we’re excited to get going.”…
