PENSACOLA, Fla. — Palafox Street construction in Downtown Pensacola has been underway since the beginning of January. While it’s still closed to traffic, you can start to see big changes taking shape as it nears its late-May completion date.
“We’re just towards the end of the project with putting all the pavers in, with that expanded sidewalk paver parking spaces,” said Adrianne Walker, Pensacola strategic initiatives project officer. “Some of the last minute landscaping and some of the more aesthetic designs are going in.”
