16-year-old shot, killed at a residence in Lancaster, police say

LANCASTER, Texas — A 16-year-old died Sunday after being found with gunshot wounds at a residence in Lancaster, officials say.

Lancaster police officers responded around 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, to a shooting in the 600 block of Hilton Drive, the Lancaster Police Department said in a press release. When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old with life-threatening gunshot wounds, the release states.
