Measles case in King County infant prompts exposure warning in Bellevue, Seattle

Public health officials are warning residents of potential measles exposures in Bellevue, northeast Seattle, and on public transit after confirming a measles case in a King County infant.

Public Health — Seattle & King County said the child, who had not yet been vaccinated, was likely exposed to measles during recent international travel. The infant was infectious while visiting several public locations earlier this month, including grocery stores, restaurants, medical facilities, and public transit. Health officials stressed that measles can spread before symptoms appear.
