NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — “We are building momentum, we are delivering results, and we are strengthening the foundation of a thriving, unified city.”
That was the message from Mayor Phillip Jones as he addressed a full auditorium during his State of the City speech, using “momentum” as the defining theme for Newport News’ current trajectory.
