Construction on new $18M public safety complex to start this summer in Gadsden County

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – Construction on a new state-of-the-art public safety complex in Gadsden County should get underway this summer, according to local leaders.

Last week, the county announced $25 million in new projects. $18 million in state money will go towards a new public safety complex.

County administrator Reginald James said deputies are in need of some major upgrades, and if all goes to plan, the new facility could be ready by October of 2027…
