Saratoga County, NY (WRGB) — A traffic stop prompted by an automated license plate reader alert in Saratoga County ended with a Hoosick Falls woman facing felony drug and child endangerment charges, authorities say.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said it conducted the stop Sunday at 2:53 p.m. on state Route 9P in the town of Malta after the system alerted on a suspended registration. The investigation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Angel Gifford of Hoosick Falls.
Gifford is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, class A misdemeanors. Authorities say Gifford knowingly and unlawfully possessed 500 milligrams or more of cocaine…
