Man accused of bribing witness in Ohio

COLUMBUS, OH (WTRF) — A Lima man has been indicted on a bribery charge related to a prior illegal dumping case, according to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost.

A grand jury in Allen County indicted Brady Schroeder on one count of bribery, a third-degree felony. The charge carries a possible prison sentence of nine to 36 months.

Schroeder was previously convicted in December of a misdemeanor count involving illegal disposal of construction and demolition debris. In that case, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 60 days suspended pending cleanup of the site. He was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service, pay a $750 fine, and carry out full remediation of the site with approval from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency…
