Attorney General’s Office meets with residents after alleged mistreatment

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A 14 News update on the investigation into mistreatment allegations against some tenants in Evansville Housing Authority properties. Concerned church members reached out to the Attorney General’s Office to investigate.

On Tuesday, representatives from Attorney General’s office met with current and former residents at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Christ in Evansville to talk about some of the issues they’ve been having.

Church members say they bring meals twice a week to people living at White Oak Manor, one of the complexes affected. They say they saw a spike in evictions in the past year…
