EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — An Evansville man faces multiple charges, including intimidation and operating while intoxicated, after police say he drove the wrong way on the Lloyd Expressway early Tuesday morning.
Austin Marks was arrested following a “be on the lookout” dispatch at approximately 4:39 a.m. regarding a white SUV traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes at 75 mph. Officers located the vehicle stopped on the concrete median near along W. Lloyd Expressway.
According to EPD, an officer observed Marks staggering eastbound away from the vehicle. The officer noted vomit running down the driver’s side door of the SUV and later observed vomit on Marks’ chin. Marks reportedly ignored commands to stop, leading to a brief pursuit on foot before he was apprehended on the Greenway under the expressway…
