Upstate man faces drug charges after traffic stop

OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) β€” An Upstate man was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on drug charges following a traffic stop Friday evening.

40-year-old Blake Marvin Johnson, of Central, was arrested in Seneca during a traffic stop and charged with trafficking fentanyl. Deputies initiated the traffic stop on a black Dodge Dakota on West North 1st Street near South Oak Street for a traffic violation.

While making contact with Johnson, dispatch informed deputies that the individual’s driving privileges had been suspended. Authorities said the suspect provided consent to search his vehicle…
