LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A landlord with properties in Lansing was fined by 54-A District Court Judge Anthony Flores for failing to bring four of seven properties into compliance with the city’s housing laws.
East Lansing-based landlord Christian Nwobu was fined $750 for failing to address conditions at each of the following properties:
- 218 Lahoma Street
- 916 Cleveland Street
- 910 Cleveland Street
- 5993 Hughes Road
The fines totaled $3,000. Court records show Nwobu owes, including Tuesday’s assessed fines, $21,750 to the 54-A District Court.
Enforcement and fines were withheld on three other properties:
- 720 S. Magnolia Street
- 1115 Camp Street
- 1623 Lyons Avenue
