24-hour boil advisory issued for some Clark County residents after water main break

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A boil water advisory has been issued for a portion of residents in Clark County.

According to Sellersburg Water, a 24-hour precautionary advisory has been issued for what they are calling a “water main incident” in Jeffersonville.

They say a contractor struck a water main in a wooded area near the 2900 block of Veterans Parkway around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. The main is a critical transmission line that delivers water from the Sellersburg Water Plant on Holmans Lane to the town’s water storage tanks…
