(FOX40.COM) — Lockdowns at multiple schools in Modesto were lifted Tuesday morning after officers investigated a suspicious package, the Modesto Police Department said.
MPD made a social media post just before 9 a.m., informing the community of their investigation into a suspicious package in the 1200 block of Woodrow Avenue.
The schools nearby were placed on lockdown as police assessed the situation.
