The City of Colton is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Berry as the City’s next Assistant City Manager, effective April 2026. This marks the reestablishment of the Assistant City Manager position, which has been vacant for more than 15 years.
Berry currently serves as the City’s Electric Utility Director, a role he has held for the past three years. During his tenure, he has provided strong leadership over the City’s municipal electric utility, focusing on operational efficiency, system reliability, and long-term planning to support Colton’s growth and service needs.
With more than two decades of experience in public utilities and municipal operations, Berry brings a broad and practical understanding of local government.
