Florida State’s next transfer portal target would make a major splash in Tallahassee

Florida State basketball got off to a slow start in the transfer portal window, but finally secured its first addition in former McDonald’s All-American Shon Abaev on Monday. Luke Loucks is wasting no time looking to acquire a player who would fill some major holes in the lineup.

Colorado’s Sebastian Rancik is visiting Florida State, and he would be a massive get for Luke Loucks. There are lots of parallels between Loucks and Rancik. Loucks played professional basketball overseas in Latvia and Germany after graduating from Florida State, and Rancik was born in Slovenia before playing high school basketball in California.
