Portions of Rock River under slow-no-wake restrictions in Rock County

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WIFR) – Following severe storms early Tuesday in southern Wisconsin, slow-no-wake restrictions are in place for parts of the Rock River in Rock County, the sheriff’s office said.

The slow-no-wake restriction zone extends from the south end of Lake Koshkonong, south to the Indianford Dam and to the W B R Townline Road Bridge.

County ordinances require slow-no-wake restrictions be put in place when water levels exceed certain levels. According to the U.S. Geological Survey Gauges, the river’s water level at Lake Koshkonong is 8.17 feet and 7.58 feet in Afton…
