Oxon Hill man charged after indecent exposure, assault in Waldorf store

WALDORF, Md. (DC News Now) — An Oxon Hill man is facing charges after he allegedly exposed himself in a Waldorf store and assaulted a customer over the weekend, according to officials.

The investigation began at around 7 p.m. on April 11, when Charles County deputies responded to a store in the Shops at Waldorf Center on Festival Way for a reported indecent exposure.

There, investigators learned that 34-year-old Cory Simpson was inside the business when he performed a “lewd act” while standing in the shoe department, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
