Reedley residents weigh in on e-bikes, parking

REEDLEY – As the use of e-bikes picks up more traction across the state, and parking spaces continue to fill up downtown, a group of Reedley’s business owners and stakeholders came together to share their concerns and ideas about potential solutions.

On April 13, community members gathered in the Greater Reedley Chamber of Commerce office to meet with city leaders to get updates on city happenings, and to give some feedback on their lived experiences downtown. The main topics of discussion were the city’s recent e-conveyance ordinance, and ways to address parking difficulties on G Street.

The meeting saw comments from Mayor Matthew Tuttle, Police Chief Marc Ediger and City Manager Nicole Zieba, who all turned to attendees to hear their perspective and reveal community concerns that could be points to consider.
