INDIANAPOLIS — A man was critically injured in a shooting on the west side of Indy Tuesday evening.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 2100 block of Emrich Lane — which is located off of North White River Parkway Drive West — around 10:38 p.m. to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a man with a injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD confirmed that the victim was transported from the scene to a local hospital in critical condition.
