1 person killed, 3 people and 1 dog injured after reported stabbing in southwest Indy

INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead and three more are injured after a reported stabbing on the southwest side of Indianapolis. One dog also reportedly suffered trauma wounds.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police crews were called just after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 3200 block of South Lockburn Street on a report of a person stabbed.

Upon arrival at the scene, a residential area near Kentucky Avenue and Holt Road, IMPD said officers found four victims suffering from trauma wounds.

Outside of the home, two adult females and one adult male were found suffering from various “penetrating object” injuries. All three were taken to the hospital by Decatur Township fire crews, with the women both listed in critical condition and the man listed as serious but stable…
