15 years ago today: Alabama’s ‘forgotten’ tornado outbreak

Wednesday marks the 15th anniversary of what is sometimes called Alabama’s “forgotten” tornado outbreak.

But it’s actually No. 2 when it comes to tornadoes on a single day in this state.
