FloridaCommerce, the state Department of Commerce, is taking a big swing in Orlando’s suburbs, locking in roughly 29,356 square feet of office space at Windsor at MetroCenter in the MetroWest area. The lease pulls together a large, contiguous block on a single floor at 2101 Park Center Drive and plants a prominent public-sector flag in the neighborhood office market.
According to CoStar, the deal covers 29,356 square feet in what the outlet describes as a Class B building at Windsor at MetroCenter. CoStar also identifies Cushman & Wakefield’s Robert Kellogg, along with Savills brokers Jerry Thornbury and Brittany Ward, as the team behind the transaction.
Where the space sits
The Windsor at MetroCenter campus is located in MetroWest at 2101 Park Center Drive. Earlier this year, broker marketing materials showed a 29,356-square-foot contiguous block available on the third floor, a chunk of space that lined up neatly with the size of the new lease.
