Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Allegheny County will be expiring at 5:30 p.m.

The warning had been issued for Allegheny County.

“The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire,” comments the National Weather Service.
