In a marathon meeting last week, the Gilbert Town Council narrowly approved two development requests and delayed a decision on a rezoning case that could bring a Target to Higley and Ocotillo roads.
The approved projects include Harvest Grove, a 311-acre mixed-use development at Germann Road and Val Vista Drive, and a request to reduce common open space at the Tuscany at Gabriella Pointe apartment complex near Warner and Martingale roads.
The council also voted 6-1, with Councilmember Bobbi Buchli dissenting, to continue the 16-acre Higley and Ocotillo retail center rezoning request to an April 21 meeting…
