Police investigating metro Atlanta woman posing as state housing employee, taking money

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Clayton County police detectives are investigating a woman for allegedly impersonating a state housing employee.

The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has also issued a statewide alert for what they said are “individuals posing as DCA staff in an attempt to scam applicants,” after an Atlanta News First investigation.
