Scene One Market Arcade 8 at 639 Main Street is holding a grand opening party next week and to celebrate, they’re offering you super cheap tickets to see some classic movies on the big screen.
When the old Market 8 AMC movie theater on Main Street closed at the end of 2025, we were told that it would be reopening in the spring under new management. Well, it’s spring, and sure enough, they will be opening up on Wednesday, April 22.

Watch classic “Buffalo” movies for just $5
In honor of Scene One Market Arcade 8’s grand opening, they will be offering $5 tickets for “The Natural” and “Bruce Almighty” (both of which feature Buffalo), in addition to the “Wizard of Oz” and other classic selections.
The following day, they will have some of the biggest blockbusters of today on their screens, including “Michael,” the brand new biopic movie about Michael Jackson. Also on deck will be “I Swear,” “Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” “Over My Dead Body,” “Fuze,” and “Lorne.” Then, on Friday, May 1, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway star in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” the long-awaited sequel to the 2006 comedy-drama.
