Police: Charleston Dollar General manager staged robbery to get bail money

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A Dollar General manager in Charleston has been arrested after allegedly staging a robbery in order to obtain bail money.

The Charleston Police Department said officers responded to the store at 1096 Clements Ferry Road on Monday morning for a reported armed robbery.
