Suspect arrested and charged with arson for Rosehill Seafood fire in Columbus

A fire Wednesday morning at Rosehill Seafood, 2621 Hamilton Road, has been put out, and a suspect has been arrested and charged with arson, according to Columbus Fire & EMS Deputy Chief Daniel Macon.

Macon told the Ledger-Enquirer the department was notified about the Rosehill fire around 6:50 a.m. and got it extinguished around 7:15 a.m. The fire was contained to the area of origin, Macon said, which he described as a storage room and trash area.

There were no injuries reported, according to Macon.

Macon said Columbus Fire & EMS had 30 personnel on scene with eight apparatus.
