EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Authorities are investigating a suspicious death following an early morning incident on the city’s east side.
According to the Evansville Police Department, officers were dispatched on April 15 to the 2500 block of Lodge Avenue after a 911 caller reported a disturbance involving an alleged assault. The caller indicated that a female was being assaulted and that a male at the scene had become unresponsive.
When officers arrived, they said they found an elderly male who was deceased at the scene. Police have not yet released the identity of the victim pending notification of family members…
