The owner of a York salvage yard that was shut down by the state Department of Environmental Protection last month for failing to comply with court orders to address repeated environmental violations is facing additional charges from State Police.
Harry “Joe” Darrah, 64, the owner of J&K Salvage, was charged last week with misdemeanor and summary counts of failure to maintain required records, according to a criminal complaint filed by State Police.
