KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The city of Knoxville plans to add a temporary four-way stop ahead of the new roundabout scheduled to be built later this year as part of the Sevier Avenue Streetscape Project.
The city plans to add a temporary four-way stop to the intersection of Sevier Avenue, Island Home Avenue, and Foggy Bottom Street. It said the new stop signs should be in place around 9 a.m. on Thursday.

This temporary stop is meant to give work crews the space to keep bringing the site up to grade and pave it. The city then plans to replace the stop with a permanent roundabout in the coming year.
