CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Conway man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to being an accessory to an armed robbery, the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said Wednesday.
Shamontae Graham, 25, pleaded guilty Wednesday to accessory before the fact of armed robbery for his part in planning a robbery with a co-defendant, the solicitor’s office said. He was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge David Caraker.
Graham was involved in the planning of the armed robbery and told his co-defendant, Mikkie McLeod, who pleaded guilty to armed robbery last August, that the victim would have jewelry and cash with him, according to the solicitor’s office. Graham told McLeod to rob everyone, including Graham himself, to “make it appear random.”…
