I believe most of us agree with the Letter to the Editor about abuse of our amenities. It’s frustrating when you see people using and abusing what doesn’t belong to them. On that same note, why do Villagers feel that since they’re Villagers they don’t have to show identification? I know wherever I go it is MY responsibility to have my proof of residency and not complain about showing it.
I’ve seen and heard people saying, “Oh come on, they didn’t ask me for it when I was at…” etc. when does the line stop moving? Employees can only do so much. If the residents would help out, even call their local recreation center if they suspect something it would great. Outsiders would see getting away with this isn’t so easy!
